Description:
Grace Health position summary: Carries out a range of clerical, registration, cashier functions as well as lab phlebotomy treatments. Obtains registration info from clients and client signatures as described according to treatment. Explains healthcare policies and procedures to patients. Obtains and analyzes doctor orders and diagnoses and performs the clerical functions related to buying of secondary services. Distribute lab reports and recover patient outcome. Maintains logs and records. Maintains stock and orders materials. Reconciles billing and deals with outside supplier send outs including follow up with procedures.
POSITION CERTIFICATIONS
1. High school graduate needed. Associates chosen.
2. Well-developed interaction skills, both written and oral. Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse viewpoints.
3. Understanding of medical terms preferred.
4. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
5. Department operation supplies 24- hour coverage, 365 days each year, which might need working a range of shifts and days of the week.
6. Must be able to be reached in your home by telephone.
7. Articulates and shows commitment to the philosophy, values, objective and vision of the organization.
