Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is needed; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Phlebotomy accreditation from a certified agency is a plus
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist; 4 years is preferred
  • Prior manager experience highly chosen
  • Demonstrated management skills and the capability to lead others
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize duties
  • Excellent verbal and written interaction abilities
  • Legitimate chauffeur’s license and excellent driving record
  • Working knowledge of MS Office

From leading our Phlebotomists, to going above and beyond to make sure all patients and clients have an optimum experience, as a Phlebotomy Manager you will plan, handle and direct all elements of our LabCorp client service centers and designated customer locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a group of (Enter #) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician’s workplaces in (city, state/territory area)
  • Manage patient circulation, wait times, and stock levels and info logs
  • Display regular monthly performance and report any discrepancies as required
  • Coordinate phlebotomists’ schedules through resourceful and creativity
  • Perform operational tasks such as payroll, monthly schedules and efficiency appraisals
  • Partner with Human being Resources concerning employee relations issues and disciplinary actions
  • Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions
  • Interact efficiently to internal and external consumers including patients, client workplace personnel, sales group, logistics and senior management
  • Supply extraordinary client service to all patients and clients
  • Help in the set-up of new Client Service Centers or Client Offices
  • Offer resolution of any patient or client issues
  • Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed
  • Travel to additional websites as required
