About this Function
As a Phlebotomist/CDL Driver you’ll use your CDL license, compassion and client service abilities to help with transporting equipment and establishing at the collection sites. After conclusion of our paid Phlebotomy Training program, you will also gather lifesaving blood contributions from our volunteer donors and ensure they have the very best experience possible. Duties
- Make the effort to personally get in touch with donors– listen to their stories and help them comprehend the worth of their contribution

- Be in-depth oriented all day, every day, to ensure that the blood you collect meets objectives, regulative requirements and can be securely transfused
- To best satisfy the needs of our donors and neighborhood, Phlebotomists/Drivers work a variable schedule consisting of early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays

Qualifications
- High school diploma or comparable needed
- Customer support experience and effective spoken interaction skills are required
- Capability to work a variable schedule including mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays. Overnight travel might be required
A current, legitimate chauffeur’s license with Class A or B Commercial Motorist’s License( CDL) and great driving record is required. Experience driving big cars highly preferred.
- DOT accreditation may be needed in some places. If needed, need to pass applicable DOT physical and associated requirements and be able to have or obtain a medical accreditation of a minimum of one-year duration.
- Capability to load and unload automobiles with or without reasonable lodgings
- Physical requirements may include the capability to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally physically helping donors experiencing an unfavorable reaction, in addition to pushing or pulling heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs (possibly up to 250 lbs. in weight and with as much as 75- degree angles). Physical requirements might be performed in adverse weather conditions
- Basic computer system abilities are desirable
