As a Phlebotomy Services Rep your job responsibilities and duties will include:
Collection of blood and urine samples from all age groups
Proper identification and accurate labeling of patient’s samples
Process samples by centrifuging and pouring off serum/plasma
Working with hospital and laboratory information systems
Able to prioritize work flow in a timely manner
Stocks and organizes laboratory supplies and maintains company inventory records
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Respects and follows patient confidentiality laws
Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to carry a phlebotomy basket and push a cart
Computer Knowledge
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to work weekends, evenings and irregular hours as needed
